1. Who provides Jobsworth
Jobsworth is provided by SEGMENT8 LTD, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16351175, whose registered office is 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NE ("we" or "us"). These terms apply between us and the business subscribing to the service ("you"). You can contact us at support@getjobsworth.com.
Jobsworth is for business use. Your subscription gives your business access to the functions included in your selected plan.
2. Business accounts
A person creating or administering a business workspace must have authority to act for that business.
You are responsible for keeping account details accurate, protecting login credentials and managing which team members can access your workspace. Access depends on business membership and role.
Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
3. Using the service
Jobsworth helps organise enquiries, quotes, appointments, jobs, costs, invoices and payment records. Available functions depend on your agreed plan and configuration.
- Use the service lawfully and only for records you are entitled to manage.
- Do not attempt to access another business's data, interfere with the service or introduce malicious software.
- Do not use customer communication features for unlawful or unsolicited messages.
You remain responsible for the trade work you undertake, your customer agreements, the accuracy of quotes and invoices, and decisions about tax treatment. Jobsworth does not replace professional trade, accounting or legal advice.
4. Your records and content
You retain your rights in the business records and other content you provide. You give Jobsworth permission to host and process that content to deliver the agreed service.
You must have an appropriate basis for entering personal data about customers, team members and other people. Processing of customer data on your behalf is subject to the applicable data-processing agreement.
Jobsworth's software, design and brand remain the property of their respective rights holders. Your subscription provides access to the service and does not transfer ownership of its software.
5. Plans and billing
Your order sets out the selected plan, per-user rate, user quantity, billing period and total recurring charge. See pricing for the available plans.
A payment card is required for the 14-day free trial on your selected plan. Your subscription continues automatically after the trial unless you cancel before the deadline shown during setup. Setup shows the first-payment date and the full recurring total, including the full annual charge if you choose annual billing.
6. Cancellation, suspension and access
You can cancel renewal of your subscription. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not change charges already incurred. After paid or trial access ends, you have 90 days to view your records. This viewing window does not define when records or backups are deleted.
We may suspend access for material misuse, a security threat, legal necessity or an unresolved payment failure.
See Refunds and cancellations for how cancelling and refunds work.
7. Responsibility and liability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
Completing a job, closing a work thread and recording payment are separate actions. You are responsible for checking that the records reflect what has actually happened.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest update.
